  • 1984-1989: Graduated from Patras Polytechnic School, Computer Engineering Department. My degree was 8.28. During my studies I concentrated, among others, on the following subjects: Compilers, Communication, Networks, Data Bases, Operating Systems, Parallel Systems, Microcomputers, Programming Languages. My thessis was titled "Real time scheduling". It was a research project under the supervision of Mr. George Pavlides.
  • 1995: Degree Pedagogical skills for teaching in technical Schools. Pedagogical Technical School of Greece, Greek Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs.
  • 2010: PhD "Personalized recommendation of multimedia learning resources by exploiting reputation metadata and ontologies". Design and implementation of a web-based e-Learning system that supports personalized learning based on hybric collaborative filtering algorithms, pedagogical theories that conclude from learning style outcomes and e-Commerce recommendation techniques.   • 2008-2010: Supervisor of ICT Center Of West Thessaloniki. Advisor, supervision and support of the administration offices and school laboratories of 1st Administration Office of West Thessaloniki on educational, technical and National School Network (edunet) issues.
  • Member of Institute of Electronics Engineers and Informatics in Northern Greece (vice president and general secretary).
  • Member of Greek Chamber of Commerce.
  • Certified Tutor by the National Accreditation Center.
  • Scientific advisor and member of R&D Group of Daedalus Informatics Ltd. since 1992.
  • 1/2/90-11/9/95: Worked as an analyst/programmer at Antenna Radio SA company (which is a popular radio-television network), in applications specific to the company's requirements e.g. Music Disk Dept, Athletic Dept, Technical Dept., and more general purpose projects e.g. Personnel Dept, Payroll Dept. I was also involved in systems installation, S/W and system supervision, user support, S/W testing.

    During this period, I have given lectures in informatics (more than 1000 hours) to adults (secondary school teachers , unemployed ) in several training programs and seminars subsidized mainly by Universities.
